Welcome to the Secret Bunker Restaurant. (For the time being the restaurant will be run out of The Secret Cafe restaurant and making use of our wonderful new pergola. Over the coming months we will be renovating the new premises for The Secret Bunker - so stay tuned.) The Secret Bunker name comes from where we intend to have our restaurant. Yes we have an old army bunker like shed which if you’ve been in the backyard you would have seen but never noticed, as it’s camouflaged. The bunker will be exceptionally unique and the wheels are in motion for the renovations to take place, we are hoping to be up and running early 2014.
There is no question that A la carte restaurants at the northern end of the coast are few and far between. So we wanted a restaurant that is a special place for everyone to come for quality dinners, quality wines, quality desserts and world class service. The best part is that it’s local, you don’t have to travel 45 minutes to the Hunter Valley or the southern end of the coast to have that special dining moment.
We are in stage 1 which is all about flavour, our wonderful chef Glenn Barber, will tantalise your taste buds and give you a sneak preview of what we have in stall.
Stage 2 is all about your experience, we are looking forward to surprising you when you see what’s in stall for the Bunker renovations.
